Project description

Competition for the best English-language book on Russian intellectual history Historia Nova is held by the Mikhail Prokhorov Foundation in partnership with the publishing house Academic Studies Press. Intellectual history is currently one of the major academic disciplines in the teaching of any humanities course in Western universities. In addition, the intellectual history is an innovative field of interdisciplinary research.

The aim of the project is to identify innovative works on intellectual history, representing a keen interest for a wide range of specialists in Russian philology, teachers and students studying Russian history, philosophy, culture, social and political structure.

The competition is open to books published in the last three years.
